• George N. Clark was appointed in November 2023 as Director Emeritus and President of Workforce Development at Manufacture Alabama, the state's only trade association exclusively serving manufacturers

• Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business from the University of Alabama and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law, and previously served two terms in the Alabama House of Representatives

• Clark helped establish the Alabama Industry and Manufacturers Association (AIM), now known as Manufacture Alabama, in 1996 and served as its President

• Clark served as Chairman of the Alabama Workforce Investment Board (AWIB) and Vice-Chairman of the Alabama Workforce Council (AWC), and currently serves on the Alabama Apprenticeship Council and Governor Kay Ivey's STEM Council
