Defines sex-based terms in Alabama law including man, woman, boy, girl, father, mother, male, female, and sex, with sex defined as the state of being male or female as observed or clinically verified at birth.

Establishes legislative policy that there are only two sexes, men and women are legally equal but not physically identical, and individuals with differences in sex development are not a third sex.

Permits state and local public entities to establish separate single-sex spaces or environments for males and females when biology, privacy, safety, or fairness are implicated.

Requires school districts, public schools, state agencies, and political subdivisions collecting vital statistics to identify each individual as either male or female, except allows "unknown" on birth, fetal death, or death certificates when sex cannot be medically determined at the time of reporting.

Takes effect October 1, 2025.
