Continues the existence and functioning of the State Board of Genetic Counseling until October 1, 2027, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

Requires board membership to include one member from each of Alabama's congressional districts, with remaining members appointed from the state at-large, effective June 1, 2025.

Maintains board composition of one Department of Genetics appointee, four genetic counseling practitioners, and four physicians appointed by various state authorities.

Allows board members to participate in regular meetings by telephone or video conference, but requires in-person participation only for meetings relating to disciplinary actions.

Takes effect June 1, 2025; passed by House on February 6, 2025, and Senate on April 9, 2025.
