• Modifies Section 32-6-233.1 to change disability parking violation fine distribution from 50/100 percent split to 100 percent of local law enforcement fines going to the municipal or county general fund, eliminating the previous state fund distributions.

• For state law enforcement officers, disability parking violation fines are distributed 50 percent to the employing agency, 25 percent to the Administrative Office of Courts, and 25 percent to the Department of Mental Health for developmental disability programs.

• Clarifies that law enforcement officers may cause illegally parked vehicles to be towed and may issue violations for vehicles parked on access aisles (5 or 8 feet wide spaces next to accessible parking).

• Becomes effective October 1, 2025, and automatically repeals 3 years after that date.
