Amends Section 15-9-41 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify provisions regarding arrest on out-of-state warrants.

Changes the crime threshold for warrantless arrest from "death or life imprisonment" to "a term exceeding one year" for individuals charged in another state's courts.

Requires arrested individuals be brought before a district or circuit court judge with all practicable speed for a complaint made under oath.

Updates language to use "individual" instead of "person" and clarifies pronoun usage as "he or she" throughout the statute.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
