Establishes the "Houston/Hunter Act" defining a firearm hold agreement as a private transaction where a federal firearms licensee takes physical possession of a lawfully possessed firearm, holds it for an agreed period, and returns it to the owner.

Grants civil immunity to federal firearms licensees operating lawfully in Alabama for returning a firearm to the owner at the termination of a firearm hold agreement.

Eliminates the civil immunity if the licensee's actions result from unlawful conduct or involve firearm transfers that violate Alabama criminal law (Title 13A) or firearms regulations (Chapter 27 of Title 41).

Takes effect on June 1, 2025.
