Amends Section 6-5-122 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to expand authority for municipalities and public institutions of higher education to abate or enjoin public nuisances injurious to health, morals, comfort, or welfare of the community.

Requires courts to order every person who participated in promoting or organizing an unpermitted event to compensate the local governing authority for all expenses related to abating the nuisance, including public safety, traffic control, and sanitation services.

Mandates courts award court costs and reasonable attorney fees to a prevailing plaintiff in actions brought under the amended statute.

Provides liability protection for property owners, business owners, property managers, and landlords who are not participating in or involved in the promotion of an unpermitted event.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage; passed on February 27, 2025 by vote of 70-22-8.
