Adds Article 5 to Chapter 5 of Title 16 of Alabama Code to establish loan assistance program for licensed athletic trainers through the Alabama Math and Science Teacher Education Program (AMSTEP).

Eligible athletic trainers may receive up to $7,500 per year or $3,750 per semester for a maximum of four consecutive years if they hold master's degrees from accredited institutions, maintain Alabama licensure, provide at least 20 hours of weekly training services at qualifying schools, and have outstanding federal student loans.

Program administered by Alabama Commission on Higher Education in consultation with the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers, with up to 10 percent of annual appropriations allowed for administrative costs.

Loan assistance awards distributed directly to applicants in two disbursements annually (after January 1 and after June 1), with educators prioritized over licensed athletic trainers if funding is insufficient.

Commission must develop accountability and evaluation plan defining program goals, objectives, expected outcomes, success metrics, and monitoring procedures; act becomes effective August 1, 2025.
