Amends Section 36-3-4 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify when sheriffs begin their terms of office.

Sheriff terms now begin at 12:00 p.m. on the first Monday after the second Tuesday of January following their election, instead of the previous "next after" language.

Modifies county commissioner term provisions to reference Section 11-3-1(d) for when terms begin and conclude.

Maintains the four-year term length for sheriffs, coroners, county treasurers (when elective), and constables.

Becomes effective on June 1, 2025; passed by the House on April 1, 2025 with a vote of 103-0.
