• Authorizes the State Superintendent of Education to summon witnesses and subpoena records and information during educational intervention proceedings.

• Allows the State Superintendent to revoke a local board's provisional release from educational intervention within five years if the board fails to satisfy the conditions of its release.

• Establishes that a local board is only considered fully released from intervention if it is not returned to intervention during the five-year provisional release period.

• If a local board is returned to intervention during the five-year period, a new five-year period begins upon subsequent provisional release.

• Becomes effective October 1, 2025.
