Proposes an amendment to Section 160 of the Alabama Constitution of 2022 to prohibit the diminishment of district attorney compensation during their term of office.

District attorneys continue to be elected by qualified electors of their judicial circuit for six-year terms and must be licensed to practice law and reside in their circuit.

Constitutional amendment will appear on the statewide primary election ballot on May 26, 2026, requiring majority voter approval to take effect.

Includes technical language updates to Section 160 regarding clerks of circuit courts, constables, and revenue apportionment from district court fines and court costs.
