Amends Alabama Code Sections 12-15-102, 12-15-114, 12-15-116, 12-15-117, 12-15-207, and 12-15-208 to replace references to specific age thresholds (18 or 19 years) with "age of majority" as defined in Section 26-1-1.

Extends juvenile court jurisdiction over delinquent acts, child in need of supervision matters, and mental health commitments to apply to all children under the age of majority rather than limiting jurisdiction based on specific ages.

Prohibits detention or confinement of children under the age of majority in adult jails or lockups except for: processing up to six hours, transfer for criminal prosecution, or charging under youthful offender provisions.

Maintains existing exceptions allowing status offenders to be detained briefly in juvenile detention facilities for investigation, identification, or shelter care arrangement purposes.

Takes effect October 1, 2025.
