Amends Section 45-37-233 of the Alabama Code to modify pistol permit fees in Jefferson County, changing references from "per year" to clarify the fee structure for one-year permits.

Maintains the one-year pistol permit fee at $7.50, distributed as follows: $4.50 to the retirement system, $0.50 to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Fund, and $2.50 to the Jefferson County Legislative Delegation Office Fund.

Establishes a five-year pistol permit fee of $37.50, distributed in the same proportions as the one-year permit fee.

Specifies that amounts in the Legislative Delegation Office Fund exceeding $120,000 as of April 10, 2014, shall be distributed to public school systems for operations including school security on a pro rata basis by student enrollment, with special provisions for the City of Gardendale School System.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2025.
