Extends the minimum validity period for all motor vehicle license plate designs from 5 years to 10 years by amending Sections 32-6-62 and 32-6-64 of the Alabama Code.

Allows the Commissioner of Revenue, with approval from the License Plates Legislative Oversight Committee, to authorize license plate designs to remain valid for more than 10 years.

Does not affect any law that designates a license plate design to be permanent.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2025.
