Proposes a constitutional amendment to allow elected or appointed members of the Montgomery City Council to participate in the Employees' Retirement System of Alabama on the same terms as other city employees.

Council members holding office at the time of ratification may purchase service credit for their prior years of service in the Employees' Retirement System of Alabama.

Prohibits individuals from participating in both a supernumerary program and the Employees' Retirement System of Alabama simultaneously.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held according to Sections 284, 284.01, and 285 of the Constitution of Alabama of 2022 and state election laws.

Amendment becomes valid upon approval by a majority of qualified electors voting on the measure.
