Extends the supplemental privilege assessment on nursing facilities through August 31, 2028 (previously set to expire August 31, 2025) at $1,603.08 per bed annually.

Extends the secondary supplemental privilege assessment through August 31, 2028 at $401.28 per bed annually, contingent on minimum appropriation provided in Act 2015-536.

Extends the monthly surcharge through August 31, 2028 at $43.75 per licensed bed per month (reduced from initial rate of $131.25 starting September 20, 2012).

Requires the Alabama Medicaid Agency to directly administer the Medicaid nursing facility program during the period the privilege assessments are levied and collected.

Becomes effective June 1, 2025.
