• Allows individuals to request removal from the registry by paying $5,000 per conviction for a qualifying offense, with all collected fees deposited into the Law Enforcement Injury Fund.

• Restricts registry access to law enforcement agencies only for background checks, investigations related to law enforcement safety, and monitoring individuals in their jurisdiction.

• Establishes the Law Enforcement Injury Fund to provide financial assistance and support rehabilitation or medical costs for law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty.

• Makes unauthorized use or disclosure of registry information a Class A misdemeanor and authorizes civil actions against parties committing violations; effective October 1, 2025.
