• Establishes the "LuLu Gribbin Shark Alert System Act" to alert the public to unprovoked shark attacks in Baldwin and Mobile Counties beaches and coastal areas.

• Designates the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to develop, implement, and operate the alert system using wireless emergency alerts (text messages and data broadcasts) to mobile devices in affected geographic areas.

• Requires the commissioner to coordinate with local emergency management organizations and receive cooperation from multiple state agencies and political subdivisions including law enforcement, emergency medical services, and municipal beach management departments.

• Activates the alert system only upon receipt of a confirmed report of an unprovoked shark attack near a shoreline or coastline.

• Provides immunity from liability for the department and cooperating entities for failure to activate the shark alert system.

• Takes effect October 1, 2025.
