Amends Section 16-27-1 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to require the State Board of Education to adopt rules regarding local board of education transportation policies for dual enrollment and other students attending offsite educational venues and career technical education centers.

Requires local boards of education to establish policies detailing transportation services available for enrolled students, including dual enrollment students at community and technical college campuses and students attending career technical education centers.

Repeals Section 16-27-2 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which previously required public school buses to transport community college and trade school students under certain circumstances.

Maintains existing State Board requirements for competent transportation supervisors, periodic safety inspections of vehicles, and special training and licensing of drivers for student transportation.

Becomes effective June 1, 2025; passed House 99-0 with 2 abstentions on April 15, 2025.
