Alabama Medicaid Agency shall provide coverage for any noninvasive colorectal cancer screening test assigned a grade A or B rating by the United States Preventive Services Task Force, including guaiac fecal occult blood test (gFOBT), fecal immunochemical test (FIT), and multi-target stool DNA test (sDNA-FIT).

Medicaid Agency shall cover any colonoscopy performed based on a positive screening test result.

Coverage automatically updates to include any future tests that maintain a grade A or B rating from the United States Preventive Services Task Force.

The act becomes effective on October 1, 2025, and shall be repealed 2 years after the effective date.
