Amends Section 45-17-230 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to revise the compensation structure for the Sheriff of Colbert County.

The Sheriff receives a base compensation of $50,000 per annum payable from the county general fund in equal installments, in lieu of any salary, monthly expense allowance, or fees.

Beginning October 1, 2025, the Sheriff's total compensation increases to $96,000 per annum through an added expense allowance, paid in equal installments from the county general fund.

Beginning January 18, 2027, the $96,000 becomes the Sheriff's base salary, replacing the previous $50,000 salary and expense allowance.

Starting October 1, 2025, the Sheriff is entitled to all uniform compensation increases granted to county employees, calculated based on total compensation, with increases during a term paid as expense allowances until converted to salary at the next term.
