Amends Alabama Code Section 12-15-102 to exclude nonfelony traffic offenses and water safety offenses committed by children 14 or 15 years of age from the definition of "delinquent act" for juvenile court proceedings, with exceptions for driving under the influence and operation of a vessel while under the influence.

Children 16 or 17 years of age committing nonfelony traffic or water safety offenses already were excluded from delinquent act classification; this bill extends similar protections to younger children ages 14 and 15.

Modifies terminology throughout the statute from "person" to "individual" and makes minor clarifying edits to existing juvenile court definitions.

Becomes effective October 1, 2025.
