Requires the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency to establish a PTSD education and resources program in cooperation with county and municipal law enforcement agencies, including developing educational materials and maintaining a roster of qualified treating physicians.

Mandates that peer support member certification applicants complete introductory PTSD training and designates an ALEA employee as a permanent PTSD resource officer to conduct presentations and respond to inquiries.

Requires employers to reimburse law enforcement officers up to $15,000 lifetime for copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles for PTSD treatment covered by insurance.

Mandates reimbursement for mileage at the IRS standard medical care rate for travel to PTSD treatment if the one-way distance exceeds 25 miles and treatment is within Alabama.

Requires employers to provide up to 80 additional paid working hours for PTSD treatment without affecting performance evaluations or disciplinary records, effective October 1, 2025.
