Allows retired law enforcement officers with Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and Training Certification to work as police officers at state colleges or universities without suspension of retirement allowance, provided annual compensation does not exceed $52,000.

Extends the expiration date for retired law enforcement officers to work as school resource officers or correctional officers without suspension of retirement benefits from December 31, 2026 to December 31, 2030.

Applies to individuals previously classified as law enforcement officers, state policemen, or correctional officers (under specific retirement provisions) before retirement under the Employees' Retirement System.

Requires retirees to provide written notice to the Employees' Retirement System and employing authority within 30 days of beginning covered employment.

Becomes effective June 1, 2025.
