• Extends the Town of Newbern's southern boundary 0.75 miles southward along U.S. AL Highway 61 to Big Prairie Creek in Hale County.

• Extends the Town of Newbern's northern boundary 1.73 miles northward along U.S. AL Highway 61 to U.S. County Road 48 and the East bank of Whitsitt Creek in Hale County.

• Adds multiple parcels of land within the expanded boundaries, including sections 36, 14, 13, 24, 23, 26, and 35 in Township 19N Range 05E.

• Requires a map showing the proposed territorial changes to be filed and available for public inspection in the Office of the Judge of Probate in Hale County, Alabama.

• Becomes effective October 1, 2025.
