Amends Section 17-5-7 of the Alabama Code to add dependent care expenses as an allowable use of campaign contributions for candidates, public officials, and principal campaign committees.

Defines "dependent care expenses" as costs incurred for caring for and supervising dependent children, disabled individuals, or others for whom the candidate has caregiving responsibility while engaged in campaign activities or performing official duties.

Permits campaign funds to be used for dependent care expenses that are a direct result of the candidate or public official's involvement in campaign-related activities or performance of office duties.

Becomes effective October 1, 2025.
