Amends Section 36-16-11 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to add all property of the Alabama State Port Authority to the list of property exempt from state personal property inventory and audit requirements.

Exempts the Alabama State Port Authority from Sections 36-16-8 through 36-16-10, bringing it into alignment with other exempt entities including public schools, universities, colleges, and state hospitals.

Makes conforming changes to existing code language and updates code language to current style standards.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2025.
