Commends Jackson High School Boys Basketball Team for winning the 2025 AHSAA Class 4A State Basketball Championship.

Team defeated Plainview High School 44-42 on February 28, 2025, at BJCC's Legacy Arena to win the championship for the second consecutive year.

Tournament MVP Joseph Taylor scored 13 points with 4 assists and 3 steals; Keeyun Chapman had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks; Isaiah Gladney scored the game-winning basket.

Head Coach Anthony Hayes and assistant coaches Lakendrick Howard and Jimmy Martin, Jr. recognized for developing players' skills and maintaining the school's tradition of superior play.

Legislature dedicates the resolution to the team and coaching staff with admiration and best wishes for continued success.
