Designates a two-mile portion of State Highway 137 in Covington County as the General Underwood Cross Memorial Highway, beginning at its intersection with U.S. Highway 29.

General Underwood Cross was born in Covington County on April 25, 1925, to James Kension Cross and Susie Jesse Wells Cross.

Cross served in the United States Army starting June 24, 1943, earned his pilot's wings, and was discharged in February 1946, then recalled to duty in October 1948 by the Army Air Corps (later the U.S. Air Force).

Cross was promoted by President Lyndon Johnson to Chief Air Force One Pilot in 1965 and died on July 15, 2015, at age 90.

The resolution was passed by the House on April 29, 2025, and adopted by the Senate on May 6, 2025.
