Commends the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) on its 150th anniversary of service to Alabama, established by law on February 19, 1875.

Acknowledges ADPH's historical role in combating epidemics and diseases including tuberculosis, typhoid, pellagra, and goiter, and improving maternal and infant mortality rates.

Recognizes Alabama as the first state to open county health department facilities in every county and notes ADPH's work under twelve State Health Officers to keep Alabamians healthy, safe, and informed.

Notes ADPH's core values of excellence, integrity, innovation, and community, and its evidence-based approaches to improving health outcomes and promoting healthy lifestyles.

House passed the resolution on February 18, 2025; Senate adopted it on February 25, 2025.
