Honors Woodie Pugh for over five decades of distinguished service to education and public service in Clarke County and Alabama.

Recognizes Pugh as Clarke County's first Black Superintendent of Education and first Black individual elected to a countywide office in 2008.

Acknowledges his 30 years of service to Clarke County schools as an agribusiness education teacher from 1979 to 2007, plus service as Superintendent from January 2009 to December 2012.

Commends his leadership roles in civic and fraternal organizations, including Masonic Grand District Deputy for Clarke, Monroe, and Wilcox Counties from 2007 to 2015, and his positions with Abraham Consistory 257.

Directs the House of Representatives to express highest commendation and gratitude to Woodie Pugh and present him with a copy of the resolution as a token of admiration and appreciation.
