Proclaims July 26, 2025, as Officiate Alabama Day in Alabama, to be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center.

Event is sponsored by the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) in partnership with the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO).

Officiate Alabama Day precedes the annual Sports Officiating Summit, a two-and-a-half day event featuring officials from professional, collegiate, and high school levels across multiple sports including baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, volleyball, soccer, track and field, cross country, swimming, diving, and competitive cheer.

Original event scheduled for Alabama in 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic; this 2025 event is anticipated to be the largest gathering of officials at a single event in Alabama's history.

Commends Alabama sports officials and the AHSAA for their promotion, leadership, and contributions to sports in the state.
