Honors Lucca, a German Shepherd-Belgian Malinois mix K9 war dog who served six years with the United States Marine Corps in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Recognizes Lucca's completion of over 400 explosive detection missions that saved countless lives without a single human casualty under her watch.

Acknowledges Lucca's heroism on March 23, 2012, when she discovered a hidden improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan and lost her front left leg when a second IED detonated, protecting her fellow Marines.

Notes Lucca received the Dickin Medal, becoming the first U.S. Marine Corps dog to receive this prestigious honor for animals in military conflict.

Directs copies of the resolution be presented to Gunnery Sergeant Chris Willingham (Lucca's handler) and Juan Rodriguez in recognition of Lucca's contributions and legacy.
