AL HR150

HR150 is a resolution mourning the death of Diedra Evon Preston of Birmingham, Alabama, who died on March 11, 2025, at age 23.

Diedra was born July 6, 2001, and graduated from Tarrant High School as a member of the Class of 2019 after studying in Birmingham City Schools.

She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of North Pratt and was known for her kindness, generosity, infectious smile, and love of dance and music.

She is survived by nine siblings: DeAnthony Griggs, Ladelyah Lacey, Diamond Dunning, Noe Dunning, Sharmyah Robinson, Shannon Robinson, Stefan Farris, Bobby Farris, and Jilaren White, along with family and friends.

The House of Representatives offers this resolution to Diedra's family with heartfelt sympathy while remembering her gift of life with gratitude.
