Designates October as Bullying Prevention Month in Alabama.

Defines bullying as the aggressive use of power targeting another person or group with repeated, unwanted words or actions causing emotional, mental, and physical harm.

Encourages Alabama schools, students, parents, recreation programs, religious institutions, businesses, and community organizations to engage in awareness and prevention activities.

Identifies negative impacts of bullying including depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, lower academic achievement, school dropout, and increased risk of serious violent behaviors among perpetrators.

Encourages Alabamians to wear and share orange as a visual symbol of kindness and acceptance to build stronger communities.
