Christian Union Primitive Baptist Church is commended and congratulated on celebrating its 75th Anniversary.

The church was organized in February 1950 by Elder Dave V. George in the home of Queenie Sanders on Boyette Street with two Deacons and a small congregation.

The congregation relocated to a tract of land at the corner of Chastang Street and Bragdon Avenue (presently Mobile Street and Bragdon Avenue), where the church building has stood for over 60 years and underwent renovation with phase one dedicated on May 6, 2018.

The church has had four pastors: Elder Dave V. George (until 1962), Elder Jack Arnold (1962-1965), Brother Prince Milton (19 years), and Brother Jeffrey T. Rainey (August 5, 1984-present).

Pastor Rainey has modernized the church with a website for streaming sermons, a mobile app, and increased membership and property holdings while maintaining the church's core mission of centering activities in the Word and creating an atmosphere for true worship.
