Commends Kounte Hampton Threadgill, a senior at Auburn High School, for being named an Alabama Public Television 2025 Young Hero.

Recognizes Threadgill's academic achievements including pursuit of the Alabama High School Diploma with Advanced Academic Endorsement and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, with a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.69 and class rank of 313 out of 670.

Honors Threadgill's extraordinary heroism on August 26, 2020, when at age 13 he rescued his four younger siblings from a house fire by running through flames and pulling them to safety through a window, then reentering to rescue his baby brother.

Notes Threadgill's community involvement as a student participant on the Strategic Planning Committee of Auburn City Schools, membership in the E-Sports Team, Chess Club, and High Fashion Club, and employment at Chick-fil-A since March 2021.

States that Threadgill was previously honored by the City of Auburn and Auburn Fire Department, with Mayor Ron Anders Jr. proclaiming September 25, 2020, as "Kounte Threadgill Day," and received the Auburn Public Safety Distinguished Citizen Award.
