Recognizes Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Hueytown, Alabama for celebrating 150 years of service on May 4, 2025.

Church origins trace to 1873 when Reverend Elisha B. Waldrop preached to a small group under oak trees next to a log building at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

On August 15, 1874, four trustees (J.G. Huey, Manoah Robertson, B.B. Waldrop, and R.E. Huey) purchased four acres of land from Henry Robertson for one dollar per acre at the church's present location.

House of Representatives honors the church's 150-year legacy of fulfilling the Great Commission and serving the people of Hueytown.
