Commends Dr. Leslie N. Pollard for serving 15 years as the 11th President of Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, the longest-serving president in the institution's 129-year history.

Recognizes Dr. Pollard's leadership in completing over $70,000,000 in construction and renovations, including the Community Health Action Center, and achieving two institutional accreditations and four new graduate degree programs.

Acknowledges significant increases in student diversity, including 400 percent growth in Latino enrollment and 1000 percent growth in African continental student enrollment, and establishment of the Anna Knight Center for Women's Leadership Research.

Highlights Dr. Pollard's philanthropic achievements, including securing the largest individual donation, corporate donation, and single grant award in university history, and increasing endowment and grant funding by nearly 200 percent.

Recognizes Dr. Pollard's community engagement through programs such as OUCare Work Scholarship, Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering partnership, and hiring of 98 community health workers through a federal grant.
