Celebrates the achievement of five seventh-grade students from Lott Middle School in Mobile County: Chasen Lofton, Danny Reed, Bruno Simmons, Dreyton Sullivan, and Matthew Turner.

Honors the students for winning first place in the Lott Middle School Seventh Grade Social Studies Competition by researching and producing a video about the history and federal recognition efforts of the MOWA Choctaws of Alabama.

Recognizes the exceptional commitment of educators Mr. John Byrd, Jr. (LOTC Program Coordinator) and Ms. Jacqueline Hoeft (Social Studies teacher) who sponsored the annual competition.

Awards the winning team an opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. as their prize.

Commends the students' hard work, perseverance, dedication, and the support of their educators and community in advancing learning at Lott Middle School.
