The Alabama House of Representatives formally recognizes and commends Alexis Brammer of Hartselle, Alabama for earning a place on the AKC Junior Agility Team USA.

Alexis Brammer, a ninth grader, qualified to compete in the 2025 Junior Open Agility World Championship held in Estadio de Abrantes, Portugal, July 9-13, 2025, competing with her Australian Shepherd named Zen.

The American Kennel Club selected 24 junior handlers and 28 dogs from across the United States to represent Team USA at this prestigious Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI)-recognized international competition.

Alexis trained extensively under the guidance of Gloria Krueger while balancing rigorous dog agility training with her academic achievements.

The resolution extends best wishes for Alexis's success at the championship and recognizes her dedication as an inspiration to young athletes pursuing competitive sports.
