Briarwood Christian School Girls Soccer Team wins the 2025 AHSAA Class 6A State Championship with a 15-7-0 record, marking their 10th state title and the all-time record for all classifications of girls soccer teams in Alabama.

Team defeated Mountain Brook 2-1 on May 10, 2025, at John Hunt Soccer Park in Huntsville, Alabama, winning in double overtime with a 4-1 shootout victory.

Freshman goalkeeper Catherine Walker earned MVP honors with seven saves during regulation play and two additional saves in the overtime shootout for nine total saves.

Head Coach Ryan Leib and assistant coaches Arrington Collie, Shawn Marlow, and Suzie Lowndes are commended for their leadership and emphasis on skill development and sportsmanship.

House of Representatives honors and commends the 19-member team and coaching staff for their exceptional season and continued dedication to excellence.
