Commends Carlos Sanders for his selfless dedication to the safety of residents in Chelsea, Alabama through his volunteer work with the Chelsea Citizen Observer Patrol (COP).

Recognizes Sanders' military service in the United States Army from 1988 to 2012, retiring as a decorated Master Sergeant after serving in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm.

Notes Sanders joined Chelsea COP on August 5, 2016, and has donated more than 5,000 hours of volunteer time to community safety while receiving recognition as Rookie of the Year (2017), Volunteer of the Year (2019), and Co-volunteer of the Year (2022).

Acknowledges Sanders' role as director of Chelsea COP since 2019 and the support of his wife Marilyn, five children, and one grandchild.

Expresses the House's respect for Sanders and the Chelsea COP organization's mission to provide safety to the Chelsea community.
