Designates April 17, 2025, as Buckets of Smiles Day in the State of Alabama.

Recognizes Buckets of Smiles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Ella Kate Nichols in 2017, which provides hospital-approved activity items to children with cancer in Alabama hospitals.

Acknowledges the organization has raised over $67,000, delivered over 1,588 buckets of activity items to children with cancer across the nation, and established a college scholarship for childhood cancer survivors in Alabama.

Notes that more than 190 children are diagnosed with cancer annually in Alabama, with over 500 undergoing treatment each year, and that childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children.

Encourages Alabama residents to recognize the day and spread awareness about children with cancer and the need for better treatment options with fewer side effects.
