Proposes a constitutional amendment requiring each local board of education to adopt policies mandating K-12 public schools broadcast or sanction performance of the first stanza of The Star-Spangled Banner at least once per week during school hours.

Schools may select any Library of Congress-archived recording of the first stanza for broadcast, or alternatively allow school-sanctioned performance by band programs, choral programs, vocal groups, or individual vocalists using original sheet music from the Library of Congress.

Amendment requires voter approval through a statewide election conducted according to Alabama election law and the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, with election officials assigning a ballot number and description of the amendment.

Establishes historical context citing Francis Scott Key's composition during the War of 1812 and the anthem's official designation by Congress in 1931, citing educational value of student exposure to national history and patriotic inspiration.

Amendment becomes effective upon ratification by a majority of qualified electors voting, with the Code Commissioner authorized to make nonsubstantive revisions to formatting and internal citations upon ratification.
