State residents may reserve state park campsites, cabins, tent sites, RV sites, and equestrian camping up to one month in advance of nonresidents.

A resident and all household members jointly may hold only one advance reservation at a time in advance of nonresidents.

State residents shall receive a 10 percent discount on state park campsite and cabin reservation rates compared to nonresident rates.

Residents may be required to provide valid driver license, nondriver identification card, or other photo identification to prove residency and ensure compliance.

The act becomes effective on October 1, 2025.
