AL SB182

Amends Alabama law to specifically include delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9 THC) in the definition of "psychoactive cannabinoids" derived from hemp.

Prohibits the sale of any beverage containing any amount of psychoactive cannabinoids in Alabama, with an exception for products permitted under medical cannabis laws (Chapter 2A of Title 20).

Makes selling or distributing beverages containing psychoactive cannabinoids a Class B misdemeanor offense.

Requires all psychoactive cannabinoids sold in the state to be packaged in child-resistant containers and kept in areas where individuals under 21 years old cannot access them.

Becomes effective October 1, 2025.
