Mobile County Judge of Probate receives base annual salary frozen at February 1, 2025 level through January 20, 2031.

Beginning June 1, 2025, judge of probate receives annual expense allowance of $49,000 paid monthly from county general fund in addition to base salary.

Starting January 20, 2031, the $49,000 expense allowance converts to base salary increase and the allowance is repealed.

Judge of probate entitled to all uniform compensation increases granted to county employees beginning June 1, 2025, calculated on total compensation and paid as expense allowance until next term of office.

Repeals Act 443 from 1967 relating to judge of probate compensation; act becomes effective June 1, 2025.
