Proposes an amendment to Section 160 of the Alabama Constitution of 2022 to prohibit diminishing a district attorney's compensation during their term of office.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held at the statewide primary election on May 26, 2026.

The amendment becomes valid upon approval by a majority of qualified electors voting on the measure.

Makes nonsubstantive revisions to Section 160 including updating language for gender neutrality and correcting internal citations and cross-references.
