Authorizes any municipality within Coffee County to contract with the Sheriff of Coffee County for police services enforcement within municipal corporate limits and police jurisdiction.

Sheriff or duly commissioned deputies may enforce all laws, municipal ordinances, and arrest or cite offenders as if they were municipal police officers under the contract.

Municipalities must pay the county treasury a sum sufficient to provide necessary manpower and equipment as mutually agreed upon by the municipal governing body, sheriff, and county commission.

County commission receives contract funds from municipalities and may expend them for police services including the municipality's police jurisdiction.

Effective date: June 1, 2025.
